Castle Crooks Farm sets sights on Cheltenham Festival 

 

Where you are from & what do you do?
I am from North London, Enfield to be exact. Lived here all my life. Unfortunately it has gone down hill since i was born, an influx of foreigners hasn't left it very special. Work wise i concentrate on backing and laying on betfair, speciality being national hunt horse racing in GB. 

How do you enjoy spending your leisure time?
I am a regular gym goer, i also play both football and rugby. i enjoy the rare poker tournament as well. i also enjoy writing song lyrics with a close friend. 

What’s your favourite time of day / year?
Not really a morning person as i tend to stay up late, it has to be the summer. 

What your happiest memory?
Stand out memory moments are always hard to answer, take one day at a time and see how it goes is my attitude. 

What is your biggest dream?
To own a horse that wins the Cheltenham gold cup, dream on... 

 

Are you a good cook / what’s your favorite meal / drink?
I can cook, i have an addiction to curry, possibly the worst addiction as i spend half my life on the toilet. real sucker for vodka cranberry. 

What’s your favorite color / item of clothing?
like simple white shirts. smart and crisp. 

What was your favorite subject in school?
physical education. hated religious studies, complete load of tosh. 

What’s your favorite horse racing event?
easy answer, Cheltenham festival ( like a kid at christmas) 

What’s your favorite historical event?
really interested in the second world war, any historic programme on hitler. 

What’s your best tip for saving the environment?
don't be a litter bug. 

What’s your favorite song / book / television show / movie?
reading wise i like autobiography's, roy keanes was an interesting read. hard to say a one particular song.. as i tend to have certain songs for certain moods. As a kid i loved ghost with demi moore. bit of an eye baller though. peep show always griped me with the unusual camera angles. 

Who’s your favorite television show / movie / actor / actress / writer?
Christian bale and Gwyneth paltrow. 

What’s your biggest indulgence?
horse racing 

What’s the best / worst thing you’ve heard about yourself?
knowledge of horse racing. nothing bad. 

What’s the one thing nobody knows about you?
have a real passion for sking when the Olympics is on. 

What charity / cause do you feel most passionately about?
RSPCA 

What’s your favorite part of virtual horse racing?
pulling a good horse in the ring, as i don't know what a final winner is like yet! 

If you won the lotto… would 100% have my own horse racing stable with a number in training.
