Where you are from & what do you do?
I am originally from Liverpool now living in the Wirral. My current home and my home town where I grew up are fantastic places to live. The people and the places are 2nd to none. I am a Payroll manager at a College in Liverpool where I have worked for 15 years (God I am getting old). 

How do you enjoy spending your leisure time?
Playing golf, watching footy and of course socialising. Some great places to eat and drink where I live and in Liverpool. 

What’s your favorite time of day / year?
5pm on a Friday every week of the year. 

What your happiest memory?
I’d have to say my wedding day….what a great party that was! So I am told, I was too drunk to remember. That’s on a par with winning the placepot at York on my 40th birthday. 2K for a £2 ticket……. 

What is your biggest dream?
Winning the lottery and buying 2 world class racehorses. One for the flat and one for the national. 

Are you a good cook / what’s your favorite meal / drink?
No I am a rubbish cook, I can make a good Stir Fry but so can anyone so that’s nothing to shout about. My favourite meal would have to be Steak and chips…You just can’t beat a steak, cooked rare, onion rings and salad (salad never gets eaten) all washed down with nice glass of Shiraz/cabernet followed by several pints of Kronenburg. 

What’s your favorite color / item of clothing?
Red (Liverpool) not sure about the clothing tho! 

What was your favorite subject in school?
P.E it was called in my day. Cricket, footy and rugby, loved it. 

What’s your favorite horse racing event?
I always go to the Skybet meeting at York that is a great 2 days, packed as well so adds to the atmosphere, York is great place to eat and drink as well. The National meeting is a must for everyone, I only go on the Thursday now because Ladies day and National day are a nightmare to get served at the bar………….You see a pattern here? 

What’s your favorite historical event?
I don’t have a favourite one but the worst one was waking up in Vegas on Sept 11 and not being able to get home for days because of the terror attacks. You might think well, Vegas isn’t a bad place to get stuck, take my word for it, it is when you have no money left for gambling. 

What’s your best tip for saving the environment?
I think the whole save the environment is a big con! Global warming isn’t happening because we don’t recycle plastic bottles etc. How do you explain the recent snow storms and bad weather….We have had an Ice Age before and could have one again what’s that down to, who was around then to recycle. 

What’s your favorite song / book / television show / movie?
I like most types of music but my party piece has to be dancing when I am very drunk to the Love Shack by the B52’s…has to be seen to be believed. Best telly has to be 24….Jack Bauer saves the world every week. Don’t really read books, Paul Nichols book was a good read although knew most of it anyway.

What’s your biggest indulgence?
Gambling I think, don’t tell the wife. 

What’s the best / worst thing you’ve heard about yourself?
The best thing I heard about myself…well not sure about this one, not sure I can tell you. Worst thing I heard was that my dancing is the worst thing anyone has ever seen.

What’s the one thing nobody knows about you?
That will remain a secret, you trying to catch me out then?

What charity / cause do you feel most passionately about?
British Heart foundation and Marie Curie Cancer care. Unfortunately most people don’t get involved with charities until something happens to someone who is close to them. I would urge everyone to donate even £5 or £500 a year to a charity, you will be surprised how it makes you feel. 

What’s your favorite part of virtual horse racing?
Winning, which I don’t do very often. To be honest, the banter on the forums is always good for a laugh.
