Auctions always create a buzz in the virtual horse racing community. especially now that the Finals are drawing near!

The business end of the season is rapidly approaching and owners are wary of this as they seek a bargain at the sales. The G1 arena didn't show up the massive four figure sums that we have got used to in recent times, far from it, although trawling the sales room some very learned stables have appeared to net a good deal or two. The unraced horses of the sale were never going to reach the dizzy heights, in terms of hammer price. The sands of time for qualification into finals and consolations are not in the horses favour this late in the season but that was never going to stop trainers getting their fresh meat under the hammer. One such horse that almost didn't even make it to the sales room was Awesome Leader. It is hard to believe that a £3 claimer would go, firstly, without a claim and then go on to sell as well as it did. It had the community questioning exactly how Frank does it, the horse now representing the black and yellow. Well, this is exactly how he did it. You had to be on early with this horse. A quick look at the time trials on Friday would have given you everything you need to take a punt, in fact, I had her in my fancy list. The one thing that did happen though is, by today and virtue of the twenty visible trials, the information had all but vanished to those who didn't catch a glimpse on Friday. On viewing the trials today it indicated a fair enough staying filly, worthy of a stayers handicap at two and maybe stayers cups at three, should she train on. However, there was a beauty of a 1200m trial on low fitness on display Friday, not to mention a few decent efforts over 1000m which indicated that this horse was not a stayer after all. At a guesstimation, this horse is in the upper echelon of sprint ability and even though the price looks high, I think she could be a class act, time will tell. It will be interesting to keep an eye on her over the coming weeks and just think, you could have had her for the price of ten cigarettes!

The German franchise and recent challenge champion, Scheer Stalle, was on the prowl today, looking to invest some of the prize fund their monster sprinter, Gerd Der Bomber has netted in his final winning run. Don't be fooled into thinking that there isn't a monster in the sprint division, I'm sure this one is it. In fact, I know he is and you will all see why when he hits them for six in the sprinters final at the end of March. You don't win a final as easy as he did against opposition as classy as some of the field behind him to eliminate him as a "monster" type. Though I am sure the rewards he will bring will serve the yard very well indeed and we are immediately seeing some investment in new blood. I think the colours worn by the yard's horses are genius to the origin of the trainer and something tells me we are likely to see quite a lot of this one in the future. Today they snapped up a nice enough sprinter in Birgit Frank. The majority of the time she had figured over 1400m on a fast going, leaving a little to the imagination in gauging her credentials over the shorter trip. It is most definitely too late for her to impact on this seasons final with only three races remaining in qualification. A consolation is about the best she will get this season but first she has to crack her maiden. She might have enough about her to contend over 1600m and it may be worth the risk chancing her arm at the Ladbrokes Final, run at the dirt of America. I think there is a bit of scope for improvement in her and her auction price was fair and about right for this type late on. It is evident that the yard are targeting the right horses, confirming the intention to make an impact on the racing fraternity.

Sumner' was the one that got away from me. She was my only bid at this auction, yet, once again the might of the green colours beat me to, what I consider a good deal. She is certainly a horse that will require a bit of patience, due in fact to the amount of wins she has already acquired. Showing a distinct liking for a bit of cut in the ground and hitting some very nice numbers over the sprint trips, may not be enough to help her cause this term, as she is probably weighted out of a consolation final. I expect to see more of her as a three-year-old and beyond. Having muscled me out of a sprint filly it appears the sentiment is shared, after naming one of today’s acquisitions, maybe Sky Castle had too much for a horse on the champions radar. Frank The Muscles, may have a comedic ring to its name but there is nothing funny about the horses ability. He is a serious sprint hope from 1000m upwards. The handling of this horse will have to planned extremely well, something you expect from the one who knows best! The aim is most likely to get this horse into a consolation race by seasons end, where he should do extremely well, given his probable favourite ground of muddy. It took an age for the bidding to even get started on Sprinter Sacre. This multi functional sprinter will have his new owner praying for the rain to stay away. Fast, firm or good, it doesn't bother him in the slightest. Trawlers may chance him in the monthly over 1600m but his ultimate focus would be on the sprint series, whether a consolation or a final push. He would need to finish high up the order in all of the remaining races to give him any sort of chance to materialise a finals berth, that's pretty unlikely and I'm not overly convinced that he enjoys the 1200m stretch. In hindsight, a consolation race is more probable.

G1 Racing has parted with over £420 to secure the service of a smart miler. Arnav was subject to a bidding frenzy with no less than ten trainers battling it out. With the Ladbrokes Monthly series reaching its climax this month, this one will be all out to record a victory. Aided by firm going and he will have a massive chance. His attributes over the 1600m trip will stand him as one of the front runners for the trophy but it is his 1400m credential that is most likely to warrant him the most success. The Nunthorpe will travel to England's 1400m turf track next season and a good campaign looks on the cards for the yards new hope. The price paid does look a little inflated so late, however, with a whole career ahead of him it all points to a sound investment and a healthy profit. Amongst the sprint ranks today, there were a couple of horses who looked nailed on to find a new home, which never materialised. Stuttering Poet looks as though his auction entry came a month too lat as this one had solid attributes over the minimum trip and would have been a lively contender in the final that was won by Gerd Der Bomber. The one that most surprised was Exponential Bay. This one sits on the fence of final qualification in thirteenth place, which should have seen the reserve met. It wasn't to be on this day and maybe the reserve was slightly too high to attract the attention with a two pound penalty looming for his second win. Nevertheless, he is of good breed at 1400m and should he return to the sale next time, with a little give in the reserve, he might well be a sound investment.

The wealthiest man on Raceclubs.com #celebrates with a 7UP! How do you #celebrate?

If you think that virtual horse racing is child’s play with easy money to be made then think again because it’s not. But, it is cheaper than owning a real live horse having to pay for its stabling and feed every day. The most successful player on Attheraces.com, Shotgun_mike, knows this better than anyone else.  He started racing virtual horses back in June 2006 to become the most successful player in terms of wins and earnings. He’s won over 14,000 and £807,000, which makes him the wealthiest man in the world of virtual horse racing. Ironically, the wealthiest man says he doesn’t drink alcohol, so he says he celebrates with a 7UP. [[posterous-content:pid___0]][[posterous-content:pid___1]]

Shogun_mike on winning the Nunthorpe and Queen Elizabeth Challenge Finals

What did it feel like winning your races?

I am in three finals this season and look forward to two of them. Shidarezakura is also in the Cesarewitch tomorrow Monday but doesn't manage 3.200 so she should finish last. I love to be in consolations and finals, these races is what it's all about. Have been waiting four months and these races will determine how much money I will have going into the next season, planing to make a big buy in the sales ring on the 1st.

I prefer the 4-7yo races because so many horses have been saved for a season or two, just to be at their best in these finals. Many great horses have low wins and have been sandbagged in qualifiers, so it's not easy to know which horses that have the best chances of winning.

I love to speculate, to talk with trainers about their horses and analyze my own chances.

Going into challenge finals you have to respect the top trainers. Many newcomers waste several wins in qualifiers and therefor get heavy in the finals, while the masterful Andy Hargie, Dallas, Derekw, Heinz, RedHalo etc always give their horses the best chances of winning the finals, so to compete with these guys you have to raise the bar and think like they do. It takes great skill and patience to play this game and you won't achieve greatness over night. My goal is to compete with the big boys of RC and to do so I must develop my patience, which is lacking most times.

I am really looking forward to sundays two finals, but hope that I will have even more finalist next couple of seasons.

How optimistic were you about winning and who was your biggest rival?

I have been looking forward to the Nunthorpe all season after the debacle in the Sprinters Challenge last season where Grimgor Ironhide got her least favoured going: firm. This season was to be her big revansch, and if she got muddy she would be hard to beat from a topdraw (nr 2). But... she got fast and that felt like someone stuck a knife in my back. 13 runs so far at fast hadn't given any victories, or even second places, so I went from dreaming of a win, to "look forward" to a 9th-12th place or something like that.

Some hopes were lit when experienced trainer Heinz wrote on the forum that he thought that Grimgor looked to be the surest final winner, so now I raised my hopes to maybe 4th place if Saxon was luring about outside my stable (like he did when The Crown secured a stable double

in saturdays consolation). In the same race I had Rallying Cry but she doesn't manage 1.200 meters and shouldn't even be in this final. I just hoped that Grimgor would get the best jockey random of the two, not R.C. that couldn't even beat a G2 with Saxon onboard at 1.200 meters.

Some days ago I had a very (wet?) dream where me, Ken Allan and Andy Hargie sat on an airplane on our way to China. Me and Ken talked about Hong Kong-movies, while me and Andy mostly talked about Ellegance. Don't ask my why some RC-trainers haunt me in my dreams but they do. I was very interested to hear about Ellegance and if Andy had sandbagged her as a 3yo. He said "no", but I still thought he had a rabbit in his hat and would set Ellegance loose in the Sprinters Final. For me, Ellegance was number 1 - but I also had a big outsider in Outsiders Scent of Menthol. Eklitop is probably the best 3yo sprinter around but from post 14 it would take a great random to win. Also Eklitop seems much better at 1.400-1.600. And what could Migirl Torinne do from the best post?

In the other final of the day, Queen Elisabeth, I had two very nice horses: Flying Beauty and Shidarezakura. F.B. finished last season finishing 2nd in the Oaks Final, while Shidare didn't make the final. 2.200 meters wasn't ideal for neither of them but with 124/126 lbs I still hoped that my gems would finish inside the money, even if the race looked very competitive with monsters from the Andy Hargie and Derekw stables. DUB was okay for Flying Beauty, winning a qualifier on that track, while Shidare would have preferred CAN.

My feeling before the race was that both my horses where much better at 2.400-2.850 meters, so best thing would have been to save them for next seasons finals (at 2.400 & 2.850 meters...).

Derek had Sweet Destiny qualified and that one felt like my biggest competitor together with Andys horse with the strange name. I'll just call it "Ankan" = means "The Duck" in swedish.

My feeling before the race, while writing this, is that Andy will win both my finals.

Do you follow routines before a race?

My two brothers sometimes watch the big races together with me, especially my kid brother Allan. He was with me when Grimgor Ironhide won the Getminted Final last season, so I guess he brings me luck. Hm, should have held hands with him when the final going was decided. ;)

I don't get very nervous anymore but it's still very exciting to watch races, even though I still battle with lag with my race viewer. I will probably not sit on the toilet like Derek did last season, instead I will stand out and walk back and forth when the clock ticks down to 0. Often you can see early on in the race if your horse will have anything to do with the outcome, so hopefully Saxon, Girard, Bailey and Doyle find their way to my four finalists.

I don't have any routines before big races, mostly I just sit around looking into space, bored because the minutes seem to pass all too slowly. If I have like two hours to kill before a big race I mainly take a walk in the forest, or watch a movie on the tv.

How do you prepare for a Challenge Series race & what advice would you give other trainers? What would you do differently in future Challenge Series?

I think I have covered most in the question before this. If I have any advice to other trainers? Well, it would be not to expect too much. It's better to expect nothing, and if your horse gets inside the money you will feel even happier about him/her. Always respect the fact that there are super trainers playing this game, so your nice horse will maybe not stand a chance against the likes of LGL, Bullet and so on. Just be happy to be in the final, and if a top random is given you – smile all the way to the bank!

In the future challenge series I have only one plan - to give my horses a fair chance in finals, and not waste wins in qualifiers.

You can do that when they turn 7yo instead. Don't be in a hurry, this game is a commitment over many seasons, not just one.

Wasting wins in division races early on with challenge horses always makes me cry, so if you have nice younger horses with low wins save them a season or two and then take on the big boys in the challenge series. I promise you, a win of 120 lbs as 4yo in an qualifier gives much more satisfaction then winning a four-horse C Division at 2yo...

How do you celebrate after winning Challenge Series?

Well... I want to expand my stable so ALL money will probably go straight into the sales ring, so please give me the wins, RC. ;) The finals haven't been raced when I write this so I guess you won't get this news in time, but hopefully you are reading my mind right now...

I guess most people would open a bottle of Crystal (spelling?) if winning a final, but because I don't drink alcohol I will have to do with 7-Up. *lol*

Would be nice to meet my best mate after winning a final but because the races are run in the middle of the night (hmm) he will probably in the act of counting sheep, so don't want to wake him up with the great news. If I win, or if he wins the Derby with Lazy Smoke, I hope we will treat each other with royal dinners... at McDonalds or Burger King.

Times like these you have to live a little and don't be cheap.

Moletown enjoys a wild debate over Ladbrokes Final on Raceclubs.

The Winners' Enclosure - Wild Debate Over Ladbrokes Final

Ladbrokes Monthly Final - 1000m Colts

Over time, the RaceClubs.com community has served up its fair share of controversy but nothing in comparison to the post race debate that followed the outcome of this challenge final. Questions asked and judgement made, the racing fraternity is divided. The shenanigans that allegedly took place concerning the winner of the race, Gerd Der Bomber, have all but overshadowed what was a remarkable win. It doesn't matter what went on prior to the horse going to post in this race, we must not be distracted from the fact that it was a performance worthy of winning any challenge final. All too often, the name of sport is being brought into disrepute, whether it's performance enhancing drugs in athletics, dodgy cricketers taking bungs from betting syndicates or offshore bank accounts opened and named after your dog to avoid paying taxes. It shouldn't really matter but it does. We live in a cynical world that is all too quick to point the finger. Good men have been tried over accusations, their reputation smeared only to be cleared of any guilt or wrong doing. Before the virtual world goes nuts, it is important to remain focussed on the beauty of the game and celebrate performance and glory, without prejudice!

The Ladbrokes Finals usually throw up some betting opportunity but this final was void of a market. The manner in which the race was won speaks volumes for that decision. Hazarding a guess, post race, the winner would have been very skinny in the market and proved his worth with devastating effect. I have to hold my hands up at this point and declare that I did not see this coming and paid very little in the form of compliment to horses ability. Yes, the horse had performed well enough to warrant a mention in a positive light but had I known what beast lies beneath the jockey, the pre-race hype would have been something else. Carrying 124lbs to victory is special enough but to carry the burden and win by over a length to some very decent sorts is nothing short of mesmerising. Do we have a sprint monster in the ranks here? Everything might just have fallen in place for the horse, the trip, the ground and the draw coupled with a good run of the race. There was not a lot of yielding form to view and it might suggest that there were no natural yielding lovers in the race, that's one view but you may not agree and we could well be seeing the future king of the sprint scene, Gerd Der Bomber. If he is what many think he is, this little debacle isn't the first and certainly not the last time his name will be murmured.

Zarkandar (UK) had Derekw10 dreaming of the ideal result for him and his recent acquisition, commenting that it would be the quickest return to investment he would make should his charge go on and win the final. In truth, the colt never really got going and ran midfield throughout. It wasn't a bad run by any stretch of the imagination but his owner, who sets himself such high standards, may not be totally happy with the outcome. As expected, my own charge settled nicely at the rear of the pack, ready to pounce, not! In fact I was very pleased to see him finish ahead of a couple and in relation to the field he was up against and the run of the race he got, you can see why I was not optimistic over his chance. One that did surprise me was the run of Watergrass Hill. Ever consistent in his races, he is becoming something of a "top jockey magnet" after securing his seventh in eleven races, not that his owner will be complaining. Eventually finishing third, he never looked like getting past the pace setter, Darry Strawberry, who was such an enigma of the race, he even managed to escape a mention in my preview, although I will claim he was always at the forefront of my thoughts as a potential winner. His lead lasted until halfway, a sitting duck to the winners' powerful run up the inside rail. The Sky Castle Stables pair ofElementte and Sense Of Style were always close up but both were treading water entering the final three.

Banzaii Danielsan was a strong fancy at the off and it was a little bit disappointing to see him not up with the front group early on. His fate was sealed by halfway and despite a late surge towards them, the front pack had flown. The quality of the horse is clear to see and with a bit of luck in running, on another day, it could have been a totally different story. Murrumba Downs brought to the race, the horse with the most solid effort over yielding but it was not to be Like A Zyrtec's day. Settled in midfield with a clear view of the leaders, the Jacques Girard ridden colt didn't quite have the extra ignition of pace needed close home, to trouble the running away, Gerd Der Bomber. A good run was on the cards for Full Monte Carlo, yet the Liveoak Stables trained, couldn't quite overturn his unsatisfactory draw, ten of the rails. Of the wider drawn horses, he ran a real nice race but it is no consolation if you finish in fifth place just outside the money but I fully expect bigger and better things from this horse in the near future. The going probably didn't agree with Kakapuka and his added 2lbs for a sprint qualifying race the previous day, wasn't going to help his cause. Nothing else really got into the race, a race dominated by a devastating turn of foot late on up the inner. Whether you agree with how the horse found his way to the stable and ultimately, a challenge final, you must agree with what it did at the track. It made winning a challenge series title look easy and if the horse is that good, I for one will be looking forward to see what it does at the track next, after all it's what happens on the track that counts, not off it! Congratulations Scheer Stalle with your fantastic championship win!

A Leeds Fan, a Liverpool fan and a Manchester United fan were arrested for drinking...

Even as a Liverpool fan I still thought this was a belter

A Leeds Fan, a Liverpool fan and a Manchester United fan were all in Saudi Arabia, sharing a smuggled crate of booze. All of a sudden the Saudi police rushed in and arrested them. The mere possession of alcohol is a severe offence in Saudi Arabia, so for the terrible crime of actually being caught consuming the booze, they were sentenced to death!

However, after many months and with the help of very good lawyers, they were able to successfully appeal their sentence down to life imprisonment. By a stroke of luck, it was a Saudi national holiday the day their trial finished, and the extremely benevolent Sheikh decided they could be released after receiving just 20 lashes each of the whip. As they were preparing for their punishment, the Sheikh suddenly said: "It's my first wife's birthday today, and she has asked me to allow each of you one wish before your whipping."

The Leeds fan was first in line (he had drunk the least), so he thought about this for a while and then said: "Please tie a pillow to my back." This was done, but the pillow only lasted 10 lashes before the whip went through. The Leeds fan had to be carried away bleeding and crying with pain when the punishment was done. The scouser was next up and after watching the scene, said:" Please fix two pillows on my back, under my dress" But even two pillows & 1 dress could only take 15 lashes before the whip went through again.

The Manchester United fan was the last one up (he had finished off the crate), but before he could say anything, the Sheikh turned to him and said: "You are from a most beautiful part of the world, your city has some of the best bars, nightclubs and restaurants in Europe, your city and football team is known throughout the world. For this, you may have two wishes!"

"Cheers mate, your Most Royal and Merciful Highness", The manc replies. "In recognition of your kindness, my first wish is that you give me not 20, but 100 lashes."

"Not only are you an honourable, handsome and powerful man, you are also very brave." The Sheik says with an admiring look on his face. "If 100 lashes is what you desire, then so be it. And your second wish? What is it to be?" the Sheikh asks.

"Please tie the Scouser to my back."

Graham Clifford's View From The Stands

Binge eating is finger licking good if done right according to Graham Clifford!

That’s one solid State of Mind

In the early hours of Saturday morning the party celebrations kicked off in Dubai. As Ms Miranda won a tight race in a small field of four 3 year old fillies champagne corks were heard popping!

By crossing that finishing line with two thirds of a length to spare over Ace Sensation from the Diva racing club she scored the ‘State of Mind’s’ 400th win.

When mobbed by journalists afterwards winning jockey Fabio Valentino explained how the State of Mind owner gave him words of inspiration before the race.

He said to me “If you lose I will see to it that (fellow jockey) Wolfgang Schmidt is your new roommate”

Schmidt is facing charges in his native Germany for stalking two separate Italian men and he has the nickname Dr. Love.

Shotgun_mike buys his own branch of KFC

Chicken enthusiasts in England have reacted with fury to the news that Shotgun_mike has purchased his own branch of KFC.

The Raceclubs legend is the only customer allowed access to the branch and employees say his favourite menu item is the twister.

With earnings of almost £800k the cost of the purchase was a drop in the ocean for Mike but the reasons behind it may have surprised some.

After reading a post by derekw10 which stated “Sky Castle has ran in over 50 Qualifiers less thank shot run mike and has almost £3000 more in earnings” Mike decided to binge in reaction.

He posted “I need to eat some comfort food after reading this post” and sure enough less than fifteen minutes later he had bought the KFC branch and was digging into his first Big Daddy meal of the evening!

Exciting stable management tools coming from Raceclubs.com this week. How to categorize your horses.

Grouping/Categorizing Your Horses… and others – New Enhancement

You have always been able to create categories and thereby group horses together in your stable. We will be changing the term ‘Stable Categories’ to ‘Horse Groups’, the term ‘categories’ will thereby only be used in reference to races.

This change will take place early next week.

With the change comes the long awaited facility to ‘Group’ horses that you follow and to name the group as you please.

You will be able to group your horses with fellow member’s horses, which is useful when keeping track of your rivals via the Leaderboards.

Your previous category which you had for your horse will now be called your horses ‘Primary Horse Group’. So whilst a horse may be assigned to more than one group, it can only have one ‘Primary Horse Group’ against its name. On your stable page you will either filter by Primary Group, a particular Group or None as you may require.

How To Create Horse Groups :
• Community > ‘Horse Groups’ > ‘type to add group name’ > ‘Add’

How To Assign a Horse to Group :
• Horse Details > ‘Add to Groups’ > ‘Save’ OR
• Community > ‘Horse Groups’ > ‘Assign’ > ‘Save’ OR
• Community > ‘Horses In Groups’ > ‘Assign’ > ‘Save’.

How To Select Your Horses Primary Group (indicated by a star) :
• Horse Details > ‘Add to Groups’ > * Add to Primary Horse Group > ‘Save’ OR
• Stable > ‘Primary Horse Groups’ > select horse/s > ‘Update’ OR
• Community > ‘Horse In Groups’ > ‘Assign’ > * Add to Primary Horse Group > ‘Save’.

Other terminology that will change:
• ‘Stables I Follow’ becomes ‘Stables In Groups’.
• ‘Follow’ becomes ‘Add to Groups’.
• ‘Following’ becomes ‘In Groups’.

Whilst all prior game functionality remains, we feel these are handy enhancements to your game. Please enjoy playing with the new features – Feel free to email the Support Desk with your constructive feedback.

The future of Raceclubs is in the hands of the rookies that rocked their virtual races!!

The future of RaceClubs.com

If RaceClubs.com is the future of horse racing then January’s best performing rookies are the future of RaceClubs.com.

The New Year is a time for renewal and regrowth, to cast aside bad habits and create positive intentions for the remainder of the year. Nothing reflects the hope of RaceClubs.com’s virtual horse racing community more eloquently than the determination of the rookie racing to win bigger, better and more races. They’ll remind you of who you were when you saddled your first horse and we hope to see them rise through the ranks to become some of the respected trainers we look up to today.

Highest Earning Rookies

Okay, if you are a complete boy scout who still thinks it’s polite to accept sweets from strangers and give them a sponge bath then it’s time to get realistic. On RaceClubs.com it’s considered important to be nice but it’s even nicer to be important, and nothing makes you more important than your bank balance. That’s why they make reality shows called The Apprentice and not The Altruist

January’s top ten rookies might not be in the same league as Shotgun_mike or Sky Castle Stables but that’s not to say the thought hasn’t crossed their mind. One day you’re just the richest rookie, the next day you’re just rich!

Highest Runs/Wins % Rookies

Some trainers are so methodical that they have kept every training record since the day gelding was invented. There’s nothing you could tell them about lengths, gains and randoms because they’ve recorded everything and probably have a T-shirt to prove it. You don’t even want to get into a discussion about placement with them, unless you have lots of idle time on your hands, because placement is more important to them than what it is to a cat contemplating how its placement on your Persian carpet instead of a litter box will affect the feng shui of a room.

Placement in virtual horse racing can make the difference between a profit and a loss, an allowance and the most important stat of all time: the Runs/Wins Percentage! You can run lots of races, you win lots of races, and it’s inevitable that if you run a lot of them you will win lots of them, but the master trainer knows that ultimate zen can only be achieved when you’ve won more races than you’ve run. Rookies on the same track to virtual enlightenment, like the great masters of placement, Death Row, Murrumba Downs and Happy Buddies, include:

Stable Name Runs/Wins %
1 Zumba Queen 50
2 Stevos Stud 33
3 Scr 33
4 Scheer Stalle 24
5 Up Coops 22
6 Celtic Huddle 20
7 Free Speech 20
8 Alhaysony 20
9 Deception Stables 19
10 Aspen Farm 18

Highest Wins Rookies

Everyone loves a winner, because even if they haven’t won anything themselves they can still appreciate the effort that went into winning the race- to use a racing analogy. Winners write their own rules but they always focus on winning because that’s what motivates them. Some people win big, some win small, some just like to beat the competition while others just like to compete against themselves!

It would be an understatement to say that Liveoak Stables, Heinz and Bigboysteve just like to win. If it was that easy they’d have more likes than Facebook. No, what makes those three trainers special is that while they like to win, they also like to see others winning too, because the only thing that makes a great winner is a great opponent. They will help you to beat them only to beat you first. If that sounds like something Confucius would say, let’s keep it simple by saying the following rookies are making great strides in their wins!

Stable Name Wins
1 Scheer Stalle 21
2 African Wilds 19
3 Dubai Raceclubs 11
4 Summerhills 11
5 Rhetoric's 47 9
6 Morpheus 8
7 Run Of The Mill 6
8 Framford Yard 6
9 Up Coops 5
10 Aspen Farm 5

Highest Runs Rookies

There’s much that can be said for running just for the love of it, but not in a Forrest Gump kind of way, more intelligent than that, because there is good money to be made in virtual horse racing on RaceClubs.com. You keep your weight down (which is kind of obvious) while reaping the benefits of placing in the money and racking up 500 Runs Awards into the thousands. Intelligent racers like Slowstables, SirLad and Stable 76 have run everywhere that you care to mention, and probably a few they’d prefer you not to, but they’ve have raced everywhere from rookie races and Challenge Series and finished amongst the top 30 wealthiest, shrewdest (we mean that in a nice way) and most successful trainers in the history of RaceClubs.com.

The best thing about virtual horse racing is that there’s no pressure on you to do anything except to have fun. Sometimes life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. But if you can win some money, beat someone’s champion and be a stand-up guy in the forums then you’re doing more than okay. Rookies that are doing better than okay with their runs, and we wish them well.

  Stable Name Runs
1 Summerhills 136
2 The Chamberlaynes 130
3 Festive Lodge 125
4 African Wilds 112
5 Scheer Stalle 85
6 On The Hill Stables 81
7 Morpheus 74
8 Birtley 66
9 Broon 65
10 Framford Yard 63

RaceClubs.com would like to welcome all the rookies who entered the virtual horse racing community this year and congratulate the rookies who made it into the top ten positions on the leaderboards.

There’s a great future in virtual horse racing, and it’s one that you can share with your friends!
