Grouping/Categorizing Your Horses… and others – New Enhancement

You have always been able to create categories and thereby group horses together in your stable. We will be changing the term ‘Stable Categories’ to ‘Horse Groups’, the term ‘categories’ will thereby only be used in reference to races. 

This change will take place early next week. 

With the change comes the long awaited facility to ‘Group’ horses that you follow and to name the group as you please. 

You will be able to group your horses with fellow member’s horses, which is useful when keeping track of your rivals via the Leaderboards. 

Your previous category which you had for your horse will now be called your horses ‘Primary Horse Group’. So whilst a horse may be assigned to more than one group, it can only have one ‘Primary Horse Group’ against its name. On your stable page you will either filter by Primary Group, a particular Group or None as you may require. 

How To Create Horse Groups : 
• Community > ‘Horse Groups’ > ‘type to add group name’ > ‘Add’

How To Assign a Horse to Group : 
• Horse Details > ‘Add to Groups’ > ‘Save’ OR
• Community > ‘Horse Groups’ > ‘Assign’ > ‘Save’ OR 
• Community > ‘Horses In Groups’ > ‘Assign’ > ‘Save’. 

How To Select Your Horses Primary Group (indicated by a star) : 
• Horse Details > ‘Add to Groups’ > * Add to Primary Horse Group > ‘Save’ OR
• Stable > ‘Primary Horse Groups’ > select horse/s > ‘Update’ OR
• Community > ‘Horse In Groups’ > ‘Assign’ > * Add to Primary Horse Group > ‘Save’. 

Other terminology that will change:
• ‘Stables I Follow’ becomes ‘Stables In Groups’. 
• ‘Follow’ becomes ‘Add to Groups’. 
• ‘Following’ becomes ‘In Groups’.
