In the early hours of Saturday morning the party celebrations kicked off in Dubai. As Ms Miranda won a tight race in a small field of four 3 year old fillies champagne corks were heard popping!

By crossing that finishing line with two thirds of a length to spare over Ace Sensation from the Diva racing club she scored the ‘State of Mind’s’ 400th win.

When mobbed by journalists afterwards winning jockey Fabio Valentino explained how the State of Mind owner gave him words of inspiration before the race.

He said to me “If you lose I will see to it that (fellow jockey) Wolfgang Schmidt is your new roommate”

Schmidt is facing charges in his native Germany for stalking two separate Italian men and he has the nickname Dr. Love.

Shotgun_mike buys his own branch of KFC

Chicken enthusiasts in England have reacted with fury to the news that Shotgun_mike has purchased his own branch of KFC.

The Raceclubs legend is the only customer allowed access to the branch and employees say his favourite menu item is the twister. 

With earnings of almost £800k the cost of the purchase was a drop in the ocean for Mike but the reasons behind it may have surprised some.

After reading a post by derekw10 which stated “Sky Castle has ran in over 50 Qualifiers less thank shot run mike and has almost £3000 more in earnings” Mike decided to binge in reaction.

He posted “I need to eat some comfort food after reading this post” and sure enough less than fifteen minutes later he had bought the KFC branch and was digging into his first Big Daddy meal of the evening!
