Graham Clifford explains why Biggar is getting bigger and better @Raceclubs.com!

Biggar will be better

Sometimes you have to remind yourself that the Biggar stable only opened up for business in September of last year so impressive has the stable been. This evening it’s preparing for an important landmark in its recent development – a 300th win. Currently the digits 2, 9 and 9 sit under the wins section of the owner’s profile page but that’s likely to change within hours. The brilliantly named Berryinthebog has been something of a revelation for the yard boasting some of the best figures in the game for a grade 3 filly. And there are others too who’ve impressed when on Biggar duty such as Festival Gold and Little Lamb. As my wife often tells her jealous friends when discussing yours truly – biggar is always better!! Yep, I’ve put on a pile of weight in recent months which really makes me a wonderful partner on our trampoline!

It remains to be seen if the empire strikes back the star wars stable is determined to pick up the winners after returning to the game.

Return of the Jedi

Well it remains to be seen if the empire strikes back in the coming months but one things for sure the star wars stable is determined to pick up the winners after returning to the game. It’s just over six and a half years since we first felt the force here on Raceclubs when the sws touched down on October 30th, 2005. The latest revival of the yard sees just two colts sharing a stable, let’s hope they get on with each other. Little is currently known about ‘Explosive Charge’ and ‘Western Showdown’ but those who try to stand in their way should recall the line from Obi Wan Kenobi “If You strike me down, I will become more powerful then you can imagine"…yikes!

Can a witch doctor be called to lift the curse off a virtual gg? Graham Clifford investigates ...

Witch doctor called to lift curse on virtual gg

Dressed in black with long matted hair and white paint on his face the strange man cuts an unlikely figure to have trackside. But he’s been summoned by the Festive Lodge stable who firmly believe that one of their young horses is possessed and they need some help in ridding the occupying demons. “I may have to try some sort of sacrifice to the random god to change this (horses’) luck!” wrote Festive Lodge last week. The witch doctor danced around the horse, put on a quick bet with a trackside bookie, sprinkled some cheddar cheese in his left ear and sang a black eyed peas number before leaving the track. The horse is said to have enjoyed the experience but the bad randoms

Enter the Raceclubs Weekly Tipping Competition on Monday. Free to enter and you could win < $100!

Raceclubs' Weekly Tipping Competition runs every Monday to Saturday.

All tipsters begin with an imaginary balance of $200 for tipping the horses they think will win their designated races. The trainer with the most profit over their $200 is the winner. It’s that simple!

How To Tip Your Winners
Players may only tip one horse in any designated race.
Players must tip a minimum of six races per week during the competition.
The minimum wager is $20 per race. There is no maximum wager.

All bets WIN only, no place betting, or bets of doubles/trebles.
Returns will be settled to Ladbrokes prices.
Players are allowed 1 NAP PER COMPETITION; a correct nap results in ODDS of selection being doubled and not the total tip, the amount wagered remains the same.
Tips will only be accepted through the designated weekly thread; therefore unsuspended forum access is a pre-requisite for participating in Raceclubs' Weekly Tipping Competition. Correspondence via Inbox will not be accepted.

Monthly Prizes
1 Monthly prize: $100 BC (overall best tipster)
1 Weekly prize: $15 BC (best tipster of the week)

In the event of a tie: please refer to Rule on tie for 14th spot in a Challenge Final

Prizes are allocated during the course of the first week of the following month.

Tipping Races
The competition will close nightly at 7pm and the next 5 races to be used, usually the 19.12, 19.24, 19.36, 19.48 and the 19.57 but this may change as they are at Ladbrokes' discretion, if it does the first five races after 7 pm BST will be used.
