Shotgun_mike cleaned-up in the 29th Challenge Series with five additional challenge titles to his credit. His collection of Challenge Series titles now amounts to 42, excluding the other Challenge Series races his horses only placed in. It’s the kind of success that makes women go weak and men turn green with envy. It’s the kind of success that one loves to hate only because it belongs to someone else’s stable and not your own. It’s the kind of success that everyone joining RaceClubs.com covets. And who wouldn’t covet £51,739 of Challenge Series success. With that kind of money you could give up your day job and employ your kids to train your horses for you. Unfortunately for Shotgun_mike this was not his best season because five Challenge Series titles pale in comparison to winning the eight titles he won in two previous Challenge Series. In March 2010 he won a total of eight titles, previously he’d also won eight titles in July 2009. His best season the previous season when he won nine titles in November 2010. His best challenger was Master Of Doom, who he bought from Black Death for £1,200 after the Stayers Challenge Final Juvenile, who went on to win the Nunthorpe Sprint Final and St Leger Challenge Final. Other horses that have won two titles include Daltresse Royale, El Legendario, Elephant Eyelash, Emprise To Avalon, Green Birdie, Master Of Doom, Radiation Vibe and Trust In God. Shotgun_mike’s best races has been the Classic Juvenile F which he’s won six times, followed by the Cesarewitch C, St Leger F & The Oaks F which he’s won five times each, four wins in the Nunthorpe C, Queen Elizabeth F, Sprinters Juvenile F & Stayers Juvenile F, three titles in the Newbury C & Stayers Juvenile C and two Sprinters Juvenile C & Derby C titles. It’s just a matter of time before he scoops at least one victory in the other Challenge Series races to complete his trophy room- unless you beat him to it!
Shotgun_mike just won five Challenge Series titles in the 29th season in the Classic Juvenile, Stayers Juvenile, The Derby, Nunthorpe Sprint and Newbury Sprint Challenge Series Finals. And for that he deserves a round of applause!
