Fawkes is sometimes referred to as "the only man ever to enter Parliament with honest intentions".
We wish we could say that about the Race Programmer but then he was never going to be a serious political contender considering his unhealthy obsession with vice, but, he does enjoy bonfires, fireworks and festivals so a Guy Fawkes celebration was right on track with his race programming agenda for the 5th November. Guy Fawkes originated in 1605 when the people were encouraged to celebrate the foiled attempt to assassinate the king. An act was even passed by the British parliament to remember the day as a day of thanksgiving. Although there were 13 conspirators in the plot to kill the king, “Guy Fawkes” is the man most synonymous with the foiled attempt. His effigy was made from old newspapers, clothes and tossed onto a bonfire; ironically, these effigies have also come to resemble the Pope, Margaret Thatcher and even the Race Programmer.- and anyone else who displeases the British people.
